Jiawang Subsidiary
Jiawang Subsidiary Company is located in Jiawang Industrial Park, which is a demonstration unit of the pre-pollution control project of the National South-to-North Water Transfer Project during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period. Fifty thousand tons of sewage are treated daily, with a service area of 18 square kilometers, serving 200,000 people. The catchment area is Jiawang Old Town, Industrial Park and Jiawang Town. The treated tail water is directly discharged into the Bulao River, and part of it is used for industrial and agricultural production or as urban domestic miscellaneous water. The first phase of the project was started in 2005 and put into operation in 2006. In August 2015, the first phase of the project was revamped and completed in November of the same year. The effluent index reached the first A standard, which effectively improved the ecological environment in the region. The second phase of construction started in September 2016, and was completed and put into operation on May 26, 2017. In August 2017, the effluent index passed the environmental assessment acceptance test and met the first A standard. It has made new contributions to the environmental protection of Jiawang District. In 2018, he was awarded the title of "Excellent Enterprise" by Jiangsu Provincial Housing and Construction Department, Honest Enterprise and other honorary titles by Hejiawang District of Xuzhou City, Green Enterprise for 5 consecutive years, and "Environmental Protection Guard" by Xuzhou Environmental Protection Bureau.
